All About Miss Roetemeyer

 Hi Guys!

I am Miss Roetemeyer and I am currently going to Columbia College to become an Elementary Education Teacher! I have always had a desire to work with kids and I always found school interesting and educational. My love for education has grown stronger and stronger every year and I am super excited to start my teaching journey. 

As I am attending school, I am subbing full-time in a school district. I like subbing right now because I am still able to work with students and get the experience of being in a school. I believe that subbing has really taught me how to handle behavior and taught me what behavior management strategies work for me and which ones do not.

Now on to the better stuff. My hobbies include fishing, spending time with friends and family, watching Netflix, reading, and crafting. I am currently watching "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" on Netflix. One of my friends got me hooked and we plan on taking a trip to the location the shows were filmed soon. I also have an obsession with reading. I read all sorts of genres and I am really open to anything. One of my goals is to create my own library in my future house. I am slowly building my collection, though books can be pretty expensive. I am currently reading a book called "When We Were Lost". 

I have recently gotten a puppy, who I adore. Her name is Delilah, but I called her Lilah all the time. She is a dachshund mixed with something we are not sure of. She has my heart for sure! She loves to play fetch and cuddle up at night. She, however, hates car rides and gets car sick very easily.
